
Canaan Canaan ,Singer Song writer originally
from Japan has been writing original tunes
in English and Japanese since 2004.
She grew up in Japan in the bustling city of Tokyo.
Early in her life this young women realized
she was born into an ancient Asiatic culture rich in music,
literature, drama, art, landscape, architecture, poetry,
and a deep love of nature.
She started learning how to sing, and play her guitar
while a college student in Michigan.
She is a self-taught guitarist with a clear soprano voice,
the ability to write poetry, and set it to music.
She sings in both English and Japanese,
and her style is called," Cuddle-POP"
which was named by Jeff Trainor from The Source Weekly.
She likes to introduce each song to help people enjoy
the experience more.
CanaanCanaan writes in musical notation
like you and I write English.
She is an experienced entertainer who plays a guitar,
and turns original poems into songs
for her three person band, composed of two guitarists,
a singer, and a drummer.
Canaan Canaan has produced to CD’s, one named
"Night Waves"and another named "Moon Child",
and her new Album is" Hawaii calls"
a homage to the hawaii culture and
its people whom she has a close interest in.
